From the moment I was picked up at the airport, Ananta made me feel like I was traveling with friend— always punctual, full of positive energy, and incredibly knowledgeable about every place we visited. In just a short amount of time, we were able to explore so much of Kathmandu thanks to the smart planning and flexibility. From the breathtaking Chandragiri Hills cable car ride to the Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), the majestic Boudhanath Stupa, the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, a unique visit to a Kashmiri mosque, and the vibrant squares of Kathmandu Durbar Square, everything was seamless. To top it all off, we had a wonderful cultural dinner at Gokarna House, complete with live performances Thank you again to the entire Himalaya Planet Adventure head and team for such an unforgettable journey. Our guide Ananta was truly delightful. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative. He answered all of our questions and shared interesting historical facts and stories including information about Nepal at large, not just the sites that we were visiting. He rearranged the order of the tour to accommodate traffic around our hotel and also offered to take us shopping for wedding shoes. He negotiated for us and allowed us to take our time, which extended well beyond the scheduled tour time. We would highly recommend Ananta as a tour guide!

Our guide Ananta was superbly knowledgeable about each site we went to and gave a lot of details the whole day about Nepal as a whole as well. We felt very safe and well taken care of all day. Ananta is also an amazing person and we were really grateful to meet him and hear about his life.

This tour was well worth it! Our guide Ananta was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing so many stories and insights at every location. We learned so much and the tour helped us understand the culture and rituals at each site in so much more depth than we would have just visiting on our own. Having the driver was super helpful and Ananta helped us navigate walking through the busy streets. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Boudhanath Stupa. We needed to shop for wedding shoes after the tour and Ananta took us shopping in a nearby place. He really went above and beyond to make our day special and memorable. He also made sure to take tons of pictures of us throughout the tour. We would HIGHLY recommend this tour and ask for Ananta as your guide!!

Kabita was SO knowledgeable of the Neplalese history, it was fascinating to listen her recite all she knew about her home and the ancient history she possessed. She was caring, considerate and always made the day about me and what I wanted. She was very accommodating. The driver was lovely and had a very clean car. I couldn’t recommend Kabita enough! 5 stars

I did this tour with Ananta as a guide. He is very aknowledgable, whether in Nepali history or the spirituality/religions. I asked a lot of questions and he always took time to answer it very kindly. And most important, as a solo woman traveller, I felt very safe with him. He is very passionate and joyful guy. I really enjoy this tour with him

I have been to 75 countries and this tour was perhaps the best I have ever been on. Ananta my guide and Gopal my driver were just phenomenal. They really, really took care of me. I had gotten sick on one of the days of the tour and they went out of their way to make sure I felt better. Ananta is perhaps the best tour guide ever! He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Nepal, Buddhaism and Hinduism. He also took great care to make sure that I was okay during every stage of the tour. He knew the best places and took me to a healing center that made me feel so much better. There are a lot of tours that try to sell you stuff but this was not one of them. I can't say enough how great this tour was and how great the company was. I will recommend this company 1000% and give them a 20/10.

This tour was fantastic. It met my needs and I got to spend the day seeing some important parts of Nepal. Shanti was my guide. She was professional, kind, knowledgeable, and flexible. Absolutely the best tour of historical sites in Kathmandu. My tour guide, Shanti, was fantastic. She gave me details on the historical, religious, and cultural aspects of every monument and temple we visited. She was knowledgeable, passionate about her country and culture, and a very pleasant person to spend an entire day with. We managed to see all the important cultural sites in just one day - it’s worth it! She also had a great sense of humor and made the tour fun and informative.
